TENTH GRADE STUDENTS’ CREATIVITY USING ACTIVE LEARNING ON GENETICS AND DNA TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

This action research was aimed to study tenth grade students’ creativity by using active learning. The target group was forty-three tenth grade students of 2019 academic year at a school in Chonburi. The research instruments were active learning lesson plans, creative thinking test, creative process test and creative product evaluation form. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation and percentage. The results showed 1) students’ creativity was 73.53% after using active learning and 2) students’ creative thinking, students’ creative process and students’ creative product were 85.12%, 70.88% and 64.60% respectively after using active learning.
