Abstract
The purposes of this research were to study 1) moral and ethical factors of students at Faculty of Education in Nakhon Pathorm Rajabhat University, 2) guidelines for promoting moral and ethical factors of students at Faculty of Education in Nakhon Pathorm Rajabhat University. The samples of the research were 139 undergraduate students in the first semester of 2019 academic year and 9 instructers of 3 educational programs at Faculty of Education in Nakhon Pathorm Rajabhat University.The instruments used for data collection were a five-rating scale questionnaire and interview form. The descriptive statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation as well as content analysis was applied for interview data.
The research revealed that:
- The moral and ethical factors of students at Faculty of Education in Nakhon Pathorm Rajabhat University were at high level, as a whole, which were ranked by descending orders of means as follows; hospitality, unity, diligence, cleanliness, politeness, honesty, economy and discipline respectively.
2.There were various guidelines for promoting moral and ethical factors of students at Faculty of Education in Nakhon Pathorm Rajabhat University. They should do as follows; provide more activities to promote moral and ethical factors for students by focusing on real practice, teachers should be role model, provide a study visit of moral and ethical works, organize learning resources and moral camp, include the moral and ethics issues in all subjects, provide elective subjects that promote moral and ethical factors, such as scouts director, social responsibility activities in order to grant awards and create morale for students.
