Art Learning Management Using Multisensory Approach Concept with Creative Based Learning to Promote Art Creation in Grade 5 Student

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) develop the art learning management using multisensory approach concept with creative based learning to promote art creation in grade 5 students. 2) compare the learning achievement of students taking visual arts course both before and after taking visual arts course. 3) study the creative art of the learners who took the course and 4) study the satisfaction of learners toward the course.The sample group comprises 47 elementary students of Pratomsuksa 5/8 in Joseph Upatham school, Nakhon Pathom province. The research instruments were 1) lesson plan for multisensory approach concept with creative based learning art lesson 2) visual art learning achievement test. 3) Creative art assesment form and 4) rating-scales for learners satisfaction. The Data analysis uses mean (x̄), percentage, standard deviation (SD), index of item – objective congruence (IOC) and t – test dependent .
The results of research were as follows 1) Art learning management using multisensory approach concept with creative based learning to promote art creation in grade 5 student has quality, the index of item – objective congruence (IOC) is value of 0.67 -1.00 2) The achievement in learning visual arts of the students was significantly higher after the lesson at the statistical level of .05 3) The creative art of the learners was on a good level ( x̄= 3.31, S.D. = 0.03) and 4) Satisfaction of the learners was on a very good level. ( x̄= 4.57, S.D. = 0.52)
