Abstract

The objectives of this study were 1) to study e-learning and social media to promote the ability of information and communication technology. 2) to study the ability of using information and communication technology of undergraduate students, Silpakorn University. 3) to study the students' opinions on e-learning, and to use social media to promote their ability to use information and communication technologies. First year undergraduate students, Faculty of Education 34 students in the first semester of academic year 2560 were used in the research as the population sampling by simple random method. Research tools including 1) Learning management plan by using E-learning and social media, course 468 101 Innovation and Information Technology for Education 7 weeks 2) E-learning Lesson 3) Performance Evaluation Form 4) Student Achievement Measure Course 468 101 Innovation and Information Technology for Education 5) Questionnaire for students' opinions on e-learning by using social media. Statistics that used in data analysis were the percentage (%) mean (gif.latex?\bar{x}), standard deviation (SD) and t-test.


            The results revealed that 1) E-learning results with the use of social media to promote the ability of using information technology and communication of students after class, posttest was higher than pretest at 0.05 level of significant. 2. The ability of using information technology and communication of undergraduate students, Silpakorn University. The total of 7 weeks was 79.43 % 3) The results of a study of students' opinions on e-learning, together with the use of social media to promote their ability to use information and communication technologies. It was good positive level. ( gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.43 and S.D. = 0.62)
