Abstract
The purposes of this research were to identify: 1) the strategic management of administrators under samutprakan primary education service area office 1 2) the human resource development of school under samutprakan primary education service area office 1 and 3) the relationship between the strategic management of administrators and human resource development of school under samutprakan primary education service area office 1. The samples were 63 schools under samutprakan primary education service area office 1. The respondents in each school were an school administrator/an acting school administrator, and teacher, in the total of 126 persons. The instrument employed for data collection was a questionnaire which was about the strategic management of the administrators based on Wheelen and Others concept and the human resource development of school based on Knowles, Swanson and Holton. The statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and Person Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.
The research findings were as follows:
- The strategic management of administrators under samutprakan primary education service area office 1, as a whole and an individual, were at a high level. In order arithmetic mean from maximum to minimum were as follows; 1) Strategy Implementation 2) Strategy Formulation 3) Evaluation and Control 4) Environment Scanning.
- The human resource development of school under samutprakan primary education service area office 1 as a whole and an individual, were at a highest level. In order arithmetic mean from maximum to minimum were as follows; 1) Individual Domain 2) People Domain 3) Organization Domain 4) Work Tasks Domain.
- The strategic management of administrators and human resource development of school under samutprakan primary education service area office 1 was found correlated as a whole were at 0.01 level of statistical significance.
