DEVELOPMENT OF CRITICAL THINKING ABILITY OF YOUNG CONSUMERS USING STORYLINE LEARNING MANAGEMENT OF GRADE 6 STUDENTS

Abstract

The research aimed to: 1) compare the critical thinking ability for young consumers of grade 6 students before and after learning by using storyline learning management; and 2) study the satisfaction of grade 6 students towards storyline learning management. The sample, derived by cluster random sampling, was 30 grade 6 students of Thepwittaya School, Ban Pong District, Ratchaburi Province. The research instruments were 1) the storyline learning management plans, 2) a critical thinking ability test, and 3) a satisfaction questionnaire on storyline learning management. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and t-test.


The results showed that: 1) the students’ critical thinking ability after learning by using storyline learning management was higher than that of before with statistical significance at.05 level; and 2) the grade 6 students’ satisfaction towards storyline learning management was at the highest level.
