ROLE OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS TO SUPPORT LEARNER-CENTERD LEARNING MANAGEMENT IN SCHOOLS UNDER RATCHABURI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to: 1) study the role of school administrators to
support learner-centered learning in education institutions; and 2) compare the teachers’
opinion on the role of school administrators tosupport learner-centered learning in education
institutions under the Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The sample was
298 teachers in schools under the Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 as
classified by school size and work experience. The instrument for data collection was
a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, means,
standard deviation, and F-test.
The research results were: 1) overall, the role of school administrators to support
learner-centered learning in education institutions under the Ratchaburi Primary Educational
Service Area Office 2 was at a high level; 2) overall the teachers’ opinion about the role of
school administrators to support learner-centered learning in education institutions under the
Ratchaburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 as classified by size was not different.
When classified by work experience, there was difference in teachers’ opinion with statistical
significance at .05 level.
