FACTOR INFLUENCING ACHIEVEMENT OF KHLONG SAM PHRAEK SUFFICIENCY ECONOMY VILLAGE, NAI KLONG BANG PLA KOT SUBDISTRICT, PHRA SAMUT CHEDI DISTRICT, SAMUT PRAKAN PROVINCE

Abstract

          This mixed-method research aimed to study: 1) the implementation success of sufficiency economy model village; and 2) factor influencing the implementation success of sufficiency economy model village. The sample consisted of 365 household headships in Khlong Sam Phraek Village and 5 key informants of community leaders and officers responsible for sufficiency economy implementation. The research instruments were a questionnaire and an in-depth interview. Data were analyzed with frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, stepwise multiple regression, and content analysis.

          The results of the study were as follows: 1) overall the implementation success of sufficiency economy model village was at a high level. Specifically, the mental and social aspect had the highest average. 2) According to multiple regression analysis, the two from five independent variables could predict the success implementation of sufficiency economy model village. The aspects of technological application and participation together predicted the success implementation of sufficiency economy model village at the percentage of 53.60 with statistical significance at the 05 level. The raw score equation was Ŷ = 1.729 + .286 (X₅) + .279 (X₃) and the standard score equation was Ẑ = .468 (Z₅) +.331 (Z₃).
