Project-Based Learning in Entitled Computer and Information for Careers Course : Microsoft Word Unit for First Year Vocational Certificate Students

Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to development of learning activity package for Microsoft Word unit using Project-Based Learning Entitled Computer and Information for Careers for first year Vocational Certificate students according to the criteria 80/80, 2) to compare the learning achievement, between pre-test scores and post-test scores, and 3) to find out the pupils’ satisfaction after using the Learning Activity Package. The sample were 45 persons of First year Business Computer major at Northeastern Vocational Institute 4, Det Udom Technical College which were obtained by Simple random sampling. There are 3 types of research tools, namely. 1) 1 sets of Learning Activity Package. The evaluation result of the Learning Activity Package was at the high level, 2) achievement test was reliable at .91., and 3) satisfaction for student questionnaire was reliable at .81., This research analyzed the data by finding the percentage, average, standard deviation, the statistics in the case of one sample t-test and the statistics in the case of dependent sample t-test.
The findings can be summarized as follows: The Learning Activity Package for Microsoft Word unit using Project-Based Learning Entitled Computer and Information for Careers for First Year Vocational Certificate Students was efficient (E1/E2), = 87.56/85.11, regarded higher than the standard level 80/80, The students who studied with Learning Activity Package had higher learning efficiency of post-test than pre-test which was significantly different at .05 and by overall, and the students were satisfied at a high level.
