The Development of Thai Language Learning Management Plan On Reading Comprehension For The Primary 4 By Using Cooperative Skill Exercises with Jigsaw

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to find the efficiency of Thai language learning management
plan on reading comprehension for The Primary 4, using cooperative skill exercises with jigsaw according to the
criteria 80/80, 2) to find the effectiveness index of Thai language learning management plan on reading
comprehension for The Primary 4, using cooperative skill exercises with jigsaw according to the criteria 80/80
and 3) to compare the learning achievement of Primary 4 students who studied with Thai language learning management plan on reading comprehension for the Primary 4 by using cooperative skill exercises with jigsaw,
between pre-test scores and post-test scores. The sample were 22 persons of Primary 4 students in Semester
1, academic year 2020, Ban Nong Chueak School under The Office of Ubonratchathani Primary Educational
Service Area 3 which were obtained by multi-stage sampling. There are 3 types of research tools, namely 1) 5
plans of Thai language learning management on Reading Comprehension for the Primary 4, using cooperative
skill exercises with jigsaw. The evaluation result of the learning management plan was at the highest level (4.50),
2) 5 sets of skill exercises of Thai language learning on Reading Comprehension for The Primary 4. The evaluation
result of the skill exercises was at the highest level. (4.42) and 3) achievement test was reliable at 0.96. This
research analyzed the data by finding the percentage, average, standard deviation, the statistics in the case of
one sample t-test and the statistics in the case of dependent sample t-test.
The findings can be summarized as follows:
1. The plan of Thai language learning management on Reading Comprehension for The Primary 4, using
cooperative skill exercises with jigsaw which the researcher developed was efficient (E1/E2), = 81.36/81.96,
regarded higher than the standard level 80/80
2. The effectiveness index of Thai language learning management plan on Reading Comprehension for
The Primary 4, using cooperative skill exercises with jigsaw was EI = 52.01
3. The Primary 4 students who studied with Thai language learning management plan on Reading
Comprehension for The Primary 4, using cooperative skill exercises with jigsaw had higher learning efficiency of
post-test than pre-test which was significantly different at 0.05
