Abstract

Depth of Field in cinema is an area that directors have to pay attention to. The depth of field created by development of lens challenged how to direct a frame and acting inside. Master directors are always the one who can manage and create the interesting scene and mise en scene. The limitation of equipments became a challenge than an obstruction. Sergei Eisenstein, Francis Ford Coppola, John Ford, Yasujiro Ozu are among names whose movies became lessons for film students around the world.
