The concept of Art-based Environmental Education (AEE) is a concept that uses art as the basis for learning the environment which is a learning model that aims to create knowledge and understanding also environmental responsibility. It is basic concept for linking student’s ideas with nature. In addition, the idea is also a guideline for teachers to evaluate each individual's personality that encourages students to be generous and gentle also transfer the environmental experience to promote awareness of environmental conservation in schools as well. The global trends are important in achieving sustainable development goals which can be achieved by focusing on using resources to maximize value with various processes. The new approaches for teaching that can make students artistic skills, aesthetic, together with some ideas, values or behaviors that are characteristic for growth and can be applied in society
