Application of Buddhist Teaching methods as Guidelines for Teaching Sakayabutra Samanerasisha

Abstract

This article aimed to study the (1) Buddhism and teaching methods in Buddhist scriptures. (2) To study the teaching methods of Sakyabutra Samanerasiha and to study the application of Buddhist teaching methods as a guideline for teaching Sakayabutra Samanerasiha. This research it is qualitative field research using in-depth interviews. The tools used include in-depth interviews. Important information providers include administrators and teachers of Mahavajiralongkorn Pali Theravada Rajavidyalaya, totaling 13 figures/person.

The research results found that Buddhist teaching methods in Buddhist scriptures, there are 4 methods it is a method that the Buddha used to teach to the Buddhist community. The teaching of Sakayabutra Samanerasisha novices initially, it is about instilling discipline. Awaken my desire to be satisfied in education, and try to make novices use their thinking emphasis is placed on using memory as the main thing, memorizing various templates, and the matter of discipline emphasizes on intention, and understand as well that is, teaching the three principles of morality, concentration, and wisdom, with morality emphasizing discipline. Regarding studying meditation, emphasizing the importance of wearing cloth. study hard have a mind focused on teacher, wisdom, understanding of what is learned, it is teaching novices according to the Threefold Principles. Application of Buddhist teaching methods as a guideline for teaching Sakayabutra Samanerasiha novices. Because novices come from many different areas. have different knowledge bases, there is a discussion that builds the novices' trust. ready to open your heart and learn together, teach according to the planned content and adjust according to the novice's skills by explaining repeatedly, speaking repeatedly so that novices have an understanding exactly as taught. If the novice doesn't get it right, I won't say it's wrong right away. Instead, it will tell you what was right, and training in talking Walking past adults, bowing, and paying respects, there will be questions after class. When a novice doesn't answer correctly, I won't say it's wrong right away. Will explain and tell what is going on instead it causes a process of thinking and reviewing. make learning more complete than just memorization.
