การเล่าเรื่องในภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชั่นยอดนิยมในบริบทสากล

Abstract

            งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาโครงสร้างการเล่าเรื่องในภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชั่นยอดนิยมในบริบทสากลเรื่อง “Frozen” “ผจญภัยแดนคำสาปราชินีหิมะ และโครงสร้างการเล่าเรื่องในภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชั่นตัวอย่าง จำนวน 5 เรื่อง ได้แก่ Frozen, Toy Story 3, Despicable Me 2, Shrek 2 และ Finding Nemo โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาจากภาพยนตร์ประกอบการสัมภาษณ์นักวิจารณ์ภาพยนตร์ และสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มผู้ชมภาพยนตร์

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) ที่มาของเรื่อง ดัดแปลงเนื้อเรื่องโดยใช้แนวคิดแบบ Innovation จากนิทานพื้นบ้านเรื่อง Snow Queen เป็นภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชั่นเรื่อง Frozen โดยคงส่วนที่น่าสนใจ และปรับเปลี่ยนการดำเนินเรื่อง บทบาทตัวละครหลัก เพื่อให้เนื้อหาน่าสนใจเหมาะกับการเล่าเรื่องในแบบแอนิเมชั่น 2) โครงเรื่องและการดำเนินเรื่อง มีโครงเรื่องที่ง่ายไม่ซับซ้อน และมีการดำเนินเรื่องไปตามขนบการเล่าเรื่อง แต่มีการหักมุมที่ตอนท้ายของเรื่อง 3) การสร้างตัวละคร ภายใต้แนวคิดแบบ Post – Modernism คือการให้เจ้าชายเป็นตัวร้าย และคนธรรมดาเป็นพระเอก ตัวละครเจ้าหญิงมีความกล้าหาญ พึ่งพาตัวเองและฟันฝ่าอุปสรรคโดยไม่รอความช่วยเหลือจากเจ้าชาย 4) แก่นความคิด สะท้อนแนวคิดแบบ Post-Modernism นั่นคือ รักแท้ของเจ้าหญิง Frozen คือความรักของพี่น้อง ไม่ใช่รักโรแมนติคของเจ้าชาย  5) ความขัดแย้ง ระหว่างตัวละครเรื่องความเชื่อในรักแรกพบ 6) ฉาก ที่สร้างจากจินตนาการบนพื้นฐานความสมจริง ผลการศึกษาโครงสร้างการเล่าเรื่องในภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชั่นตัวอย่างพบว่า ภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชั่นตัวอย่างของ Frozen แตกต่างจากภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชั่นตัวอย่างเรื่องอื่นในส่วนของภาพที่ตัดตอนมาจากภาพยนตร์ และตัวอักษรที่ปรากฏในภาพยนตร์ เนื่องจากมีกลวิธีในการนำเสนอที่ต้องการปิดบังตัวละครสำคัญและเนื้อเรื่องที่แท้จริง เพื่อทำให้ผู้ชมเกิดความประหลาดใจ 

The objective of research is to study the narrative structure in the most popular animation in global context “Frozen” (Going on an Adventure in a Land Cursed by the Snow Queen). Also it is the aim of this research to study the narrative structure of animation trailers in five stories ; Frozen, Toy Story 3, Despicable Me 2, Shrek 2 and Finding Nemo. Qualitative research method is used in this research by analyzing the content of feature film including interview of film critics and the audiences.

The result of the study found that the narrative structure in the most popular animation feature film in global context  include 1) Source of story : adapting story by using innovative idea from a folk tale “Snow Queen” to be an animation feature film “Frozen”. It still maintains some part of original content as well as changing a story line and the role of main characters to relate to the narration of animation feature films. 2) The structure and story line : which are simple but have twisted ending.3) Creating the characters : by using the Post-Modernism theory ; the prince is bad and the ordinary person is good and the princess is brave, rely on herself and help herself without depending on the prince.4) Main idea : Reflecting the theory of Post-Modernism ; the true love of the princess “Frozen” is about the love of her relatives. It isn’t the romantic love of the prince. 5) Conflict : between characters and the believe of first love.6) The scene : that  is created from the imagination based on the truth The result of studying the narrative structure in the animation feature film trailers found that the trailer of Frozen is different from others in case of film editing and film letter because it use the presenting method by concealing main characters and the real story to surprise the audience.
