หนังสือพิมพ์ไทยรายวันประชานิยมกับการนำเสนอข่าวสาร ด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์

Abstract

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ จุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเนื้อหาข่าวสารและรูปแบบการนำเสนอข่าวสารด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์ รวมถึงศึกษาเปรียบเทียบเนื้อหาและรูปแบบการนำเสนอข่าวสารด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์ของหนังสือพิมพ์ประชานิยมไทยรายวัน กรณีศึกษาหนังสือพิมพ์ไทยรัฐ เดลินิวส์ และคมชัดลึก ช่วงระหว่างวันที่ 1 มกราคม – 31 ธันวาคม พ.ศ. 2555 โดยเลือกศึกษาเฉพาะหน้าเกษตร เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative research) ด้วยวิธีการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content analysis) โดยบันทึกข้อมูลด้านปริมาณ เนื้อหา และรูปแบบการนำเสนอข่าวสารด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์ลงในตารางลงรหัส (Coding sheet) ที่ผ่านการพิจารณาจากบุคลากรที่ปฏิบัติงานด้านการเกษตร และผู้ร่วมวิจัยที่สำเร็จการศึกษาระดับมหาบัณฑิต จากคณะวารสารศาสตร์และสื่อสารมวลชน มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์    

ผลการวิจัย ด้านปริมาณการนำเสนอข่าวสารด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์ พบว่าหนังสือพิมพ์คมชัดลึก มีจำนวนชิ้นข่าวและพื้นที่ตีพิมพ์ข่าวสารด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือหนังสือพิมพ์เดลินิวส์ และพบข่าวสารด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์น้อยที่สุดในหนังสือพิมพ์ไทยรัฐ ด้านเนื้อหาพบว่าหนังสือพิมพ์ทั้ง 3 ชื่อฉบับ นำเสนอเนื้อหาด้านการส่งเสริมอินทรียวัตถุและปฏิเสธการใช้สารเคมีมากที่สุด และพบเนื้อหาด้านปัญหาและแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหาการทำเกษตรอินทรีย์น้อยที่สุด ทั้งนี้เนื่องจากเนื้อหาด้านการปฏิเสธการใช้สารเคมี มีความเกี่ยวเนื่องหรือตรงกับความต้องการของเกษตรกรรวมถึงผู้อ่านมากที่สุด ดังจะเห็นได้จากการให้ความสำคัญกับผลเสียของการใช้สารเคมีทางการเกษตร ทั้งในส่วนของนักวิชาการ นโยบายรัฐบาล แผนพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ และแผนยุทธศาสตร์เกษตรอินทรีย์แห่งชาติ ด้านรูปแบบการนำเสนอข่าวสารด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์ จากการศึกษาข้อมูลเบื้องต้นได้แบ่งรูปแบบการนำเสนอไว้ 3 รูปแบบ คือ ข่าว บทความ และคอลัมน์ถามตอบปัญหา พบว่าหนังสือพิมพ์ทั้ง 3 ชื่อฉบับ นำเสนอข่าวสารด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์ใน 2 รูปแบบคือข่าวกับบทความ โดยนำเสนอในรูปแบบบทความมากกว่าข่าว ซึ่งจะตอบสนองในเรื่องของข้อเท็จจริง ความรู้  และความคิดเห็นผ่านการวิเคราะห์เหตุการณ์ต่างที่เกิดขึ้นๆ แต่ขาดในส่วนของรูปแบบคอลัมน์ถามตอบปัญหา ซึ่งเป็นข้อเขียนที่มีจุดมุ่งหมายในการตอบกลับข้อมูล ข้อสงสัยแก่ผู้อ่าน  ซึ่งเมื่อเปรียบเทียบการนำเสนอข่าวสารด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์ในหนังสือพิมพ์ทั้ง 3 ชื่อฉบับโดยภาพรวมแล้ว ไม่พบความแตกต่างด้านปริมาณรวมถึงรูปแบบการนำเสนอ แต่พบความแตกต่างในส่วนของเนื้อหา โดยเฉพาะหนังพิมพ์ไทยรัฐที่ให้ความสำคัญกับการนำเสนอนโยบายด้านเกษตรอินทรีย์มากที่สุด

This research on “Popular Daily newspaper of Thailand and news on organic agriculture presentation” aims to study news contents and presentation formats of news on organic agriculture as well as to study and compare contents and presentation formats of news on organic agriculture of popular daily newspaper of Thailand. This research was the specific case study of agricultural column of Thairath newspaper, Daily News newspaper, and Kom Chad Luek newspaper during January 1^st – December 31^st, 2012. This research is a quantitative research conducted by using content analysis. Data on content quantity and presentation formats of news on organic agriculture were recorded in Coding Sheet approved by some personnel who had direct responsibilities on agriculture and the researcher who graduated in Master of Arts Program from Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, Thammasat University.

            From the results on quantity of news on organic agriculture, it was found that Kom Chad Luek newspaper had the highest quantity of news and available spaces for publishing news on organic agriculture while Thairath newspaper had the least quantity of news on organic agriculture. For contents, it was found that these 3 newspapers presented contents on promoting organic matters and strived to reject the use of chemicals in high level while presented contents on problems and resolutions of organic agriculture in the lowest level because contents on chemicals usage rejection directly involved with agriculture sector, farmers, and consumers  as could be seen in emphasizing on negative effects of agricultural chemicals usage of in the dimensions of scholars, government policies, economic development plan, and National Organic Agriculture Strategic Plan. For presentation formats were divided into 3 formats after studying on primary data including news, article, and question and answer column. It was found that these 3 newspapers presented news on organic agriculture in 2 formats, is news and article, and article seemed to be preferred because it could respond on facts, knowledge, and opinions obtained from analyzing occurred events. However, these three newspapers lacked of question and answer column that was the article aiming to answer all questions of readers. After comparing news on organic agriculture presentation of these 3 newspapers, in overall, it was found that there were some specific differences on contents, especially Thairath newspaper that was the bestseller of Thailand that mostly emphasized on presenting news and policies on organic agriculture
