Pattern and Behaviors of Usurpation for Political Power During the Ayutthaya Period, 1351-1767

Abstract
The purpose of this article were twofolds ; to study the patterns and behaviors of usurpation for political power during the Ayutthaya period and to generalized the pattern and behavior of usurpation for political power during the Ayutthaya period. The methodology in this article were documentary study concluded historical method primary document and relevant documents. The results of this article found out that 1) patterns and behaviors of usurpation for political power were the use of large group of followers or army and the assassination and stealth. 2) the generalization of these events that is the young King who loses power often were the young and the usurpers often were not less than 30 years olds. In addition, the changing of patterns and behaviors of usurpation for political power in the late Ayutthaya period came form various factors such as forces control, security and location environment.
