The Teamwork of Teachers in Basic Educational Institutions under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Surin

Abstract
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the teamwork of teachers in Basic Educational Institutions; 2) to compare the teamwork of teachers in Basic Educational Institutions classified by the work experience and the size of the educational institutions; and 3) to study guidelines for developing the teamwork of teachers in Basic Educational Institutions under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Surin. The samples were selected from 337 people who were teachers, resulting from Krejcie and Morgan's comparison table. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) consisting of percentage, mean score, standard deviation, and the hypothesis test using T-test and F-test. The findings found that: 1) The teamwork of teachers overall was at the highest level. 2) The comparison of the teamwork of teachers, classified according to the work experience, revealed that overall and individual were significantly different at the level of.05, and according to the size, educational institutions revealed that overall and individual were not different, and 3) Guidelines for developing the teamwork of teachers revealed that setting team and individual goals, and communication creates understanding in the team. Letting teammates express their honest opinions, having good human relations in the team, participating in activities organized by educational institutions, building trust among teammates, and being kind to each other to help build understanding and confidence for effective teamwork.
