Developing Model for the Operational Efficiency of Local Government Organization Personnel in Nuea Khlong District, Krabi Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) study the work efficiency of local government organization personnel. 2) Analyze the work performance components of local government organization personnel; and 3) create a model for developing the work efficiency of local government organization personnel in Nuea Khlong District, Krabi Province. Using a mixed-methods research methodology, quantitative analysis used questionnaire with 210 respondents. Descriptive statistics were used: frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation; factor analysis; structural equation model analysis; and qualitative analysis used group discussions. It was found that 1) Performance efficiency of local government organization personnel Overall it is at a high level, considering each aspect, and that personal quality, trustworthiness, cooperation with others, knowledge, about the job Initiative, work quality, and work quantity had the highest averages, respectively. 2) Work performance development component of local administrative organization personnel overall, at a high level considering each aspect, found that doing, policy and planning, technology, management, and personnel were at the highest averages, respectively. The results of checking the consistency of the model found that the model is consistent with the results of the main component data analysis regarding the development of work efficiency of personnel in local administrative organizations. 3) the developing work efficiency of personnel of local government organizations, must use an effective operating model consisting of management, doing, technology, policy and planning, and personnel that causes the develop the operational efficiency of local government organization personnel in Nuea Khlong District, Krabi Province.
