The Development of Supervision Model to Enhance for Competencies in Learning Management Based on Innovation in Pilot Innovative Area School

Abstract

A study of problems in teaching and learning management for teachers in pilot schools with the objectives to: 1) study the current conditions, problems, and needs of supervision; 2) develop a supervision model; 3) study the results of using the supervision model. The sample group included 326 teachers of pilot schools in the Education Innovation Area, Sisaket Province, 8 experts, and 16 stakeholders. The tools used include a questionnaire about problem conditions, a manual, a group discussion recording form, an evaluation form, a supervision form, and a satisfaction assessment form. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and content analysis. The research results were found as follows: 1. The overall problem was at a moderate level; there were problems in the area of supervision practices that were not systematic, and teachers in the educational innovation area pilot schools did not have confidence in learning management. 2. The supervision model consists of six elements: principles, objectives, and the supervision process. Supervision content evaluation of supervision model and success factors. The supervision process has six steps: joint planning, reviewing innovation, supervising the classroom, reflecting on results, expanding the results of innovation, Summary, and reporting results. 3. The results of the evaluation of teachers' competency in innovation-based learning management in pilot schools in the educational innovation area found that teachers have the competency to organize learning activities according to innovative formats that are used and can continue to improve innovations as appropriate to the greatest extent possible, and teachers are satisfied with the supervision at the highest level. In the results of the evaluation of the use of the supervision model by 16 stakeholders, it was concluded there is consistency, suitability, feasibility, and usefulness. at the highest level.
