Mediated Role of Organizational Commitment on the Relationship Between Leadership and Desirable Behavior of Thailand Post Employees in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province

Abstract
This article aimed to study (1) the leadership relationship with displaying desirable behavior of Thai postal company employees, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya branch; (2) the relationship between the leadership and the organizational commitment of Thai Post Office employees at the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Branch; (3) the relationship with the organizational commitment that relates to Thai postal company employees' displaying desirable behavior, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Branch; and (4) the mediator effect of the organizational commitment to the relationship between leadership and the display of desirable behavior by Thai postal company employees, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya branch. The study was quantitative research. The samples used in this research were 380 employees of the Thai Post Office, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya branch. The study used a questionnaire as a tool to collect data and analyzed data with descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, average, and standard deviation, and tested hypothesis by analyzing structural equation models.
The research results were found as follows: 1) Structural equation models were consistent with empirical data. Based on the value c2 = 194.468, p-value = 0.000, c2/df =1.676, GFI = 0.952, AGFI = 0.922, CFI = 0.969, NFI = 0.929, and RMSEA = 0.042 and 2) The results of the hypothesis testing showed that the direct leaders, supportive leaders, participative leaders, and achievement-oriented leaders influenced the desirable behavior of Thai postal company employees at the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Branch through organizational commitment, was statistically significant at 0.001, with the power of forecasting at 54%.
