Guidelines for the Promotion of Digital Cultural Tourism in Nakhonnayok Province

Abstract

This article aimed to study (1) to survey the decision level of digital cultural tourism among Thai tourists in Nakhonnayok Province, and (2) to find out the components of digital cultural tourism management affecting the decisions of Thai tourists in Nakhonnayok Province. This research was quantitative research. The population included Thai tourists traveling in Nakhonnayok Province, and the sample group consisted of 323 people. They were selected by the purposive sampling method. The instrument for collecting data was a questionnaire. Analysis of data by descriptive statistics, mean, percentage, standard deviation, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The research results were found as follows:


1) The result of the decision level for the digital cultural tourism of Thai tourists in Nakhonnayok province was that the overall image was at a high level.


2) The components of the digital cultural tourism management affecting the decision of the Thai tourists in Nakhonnayok province included technological use for management and the creating of tourists database. These results can be predicted as follows: The decision of Thai tourists in Nakhonnayok province was 58.10 percent to predict that it was equal to .438 (technological use for management aspect) + .230 (creating of tourist database aspect).
