The Development of Information System for Transferring Academic Performance at a High Vocational Diploma Level: A Case Study of the Business Information Systems Program, Faculty of Business Administration, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya Songkhla Campus

Abstract

         In this research investigation, the researcher examines 1) the process for transferring academic performance; develops 2) an academic performance transferring system; and evaluates 3) the users’ satisfaction with the system constructed. The study commenced with the collection of data, system analysis, system design, system development, system testing, and evaluation of users’ satisfaction. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The descriptive statistics were employed. Findings showed that the factors related to the academic performance transferring process responded to the needs of students and lecturers. The evaluation of the user satisfaction in the aspect of the system benefits on work performance was at the highest level with the mean of 4.25; the aspect of system design was at the highest level with the mean of 4.21; and the aspect of system stability was at a high level with the mean of 4.20, respectively.
