HAPPINESS AFFECTING WORKING EFFICIENCY OF GOVERNMENT OFFICERS AND STAFF IN MINBURI DISTRICT OFFICE BANGKOK

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the personal and happiness factors that affect job performance efficiency of Government officers and staff in Minburi District Office, Bangkok. The sample consisted of 236 people. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent samples t-test and one-way ANOVA. The study found that the personal factors affecting the happiness factor of the Government officers and staff in Minburi District Office in Bangkok was a major factor in their education level and salary. Status and age corresponded significantly with the main hypothesis, and the happiness factor influenced the job performance efficiency in terms of corporate values, quality of work life, industriousness, the joy factor in leadership and job satisfaction. Relationships with colleagues, job advancement and the physical environment corresponded significantly with the main hypothesis.
