Performance evaluation of the Reconciliation Election Project 2008-2014

Abstract

This study aims to 1) evaluate the Reconciliation Election Project of local administration (2) recommend how to improve or amend regulations and project implementation process by local governments. A mixed method of questionnaires were used to collect quantitative data in-depth interview for qualitative data the staff of the office of Provincial Election were a sample group. The evaluation of efficiency and effectiveness of project implementation by using a CIPP Model showed that (1) the average overall opinion on regulation and process was high ( =3.57, S.D.=0.85) This means the rules and guidelines for the implementation of the project are appropriate. (2) The Input factor is at a high level ( =4.13, S.D.=0.76) the staff are ready to work (3) The Process factor is at a high level ( =4.20, S.D.=0.72) This shows that the staff in the unit have the potential to carry out the project. (4) The Product/outcome factor is at a high level ( =4.17, S.D.=0.73). the results indicate the efficient management of the project implementation within the budget. Guidelines for improving by qualitative research should assessment and report of each project implementation, and build a network of cooperation with local educational institutions in order to disseminate knowledge and understanding about the reconciliation election.
