บทคัดย่อ
This research aimed: 1) to analyze the problems from the local intellectuals of the folk music in Ban Wah Community, 2) to create the music note of Ban Wah Community. This study was qualitative research with the participation of the local communities. The research methodology included quantitative data collected through a questionnaire as well as qualitative data collected through in-depth interviews. The specific case study was derived from the key informants, subgroup discussions, and participatory observations.
The results were as follows: The problems and the needs from the local intellectuals in Ban Wah Community included: 1) the number of music notes, 2) the number of musical instruments, 3) the number of show costumes, 4) the next generation of musicians and performers to be given the local inheritance, and 5) choreography. The music note of Ban Wah Community included: 1) Trae Song 2) Chean Hab Song 3) Hor Lum Phan Song 4) Khag Morn Song.
