โขนเฉลิมกรุง : แนวคิด รูปแบบ และปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการแสดง

บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่ออธิบายถึงปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อแนวคิดและรูปแบบของการแสดงของโขนเฉลิมกรุง รวมทั้งศึกษาแนวคิด รูปแบบ อัตลักษณ์ของโขนเฉลิมกรุง ที่เกิดจากปัจจัยเหล่านั้น
โขนเฉลิมกรุงเป็นคณะโขนที่แสดงในโรงละครศาลาเฉลิมกรุง มีแนวคิดหลักคือเป็นโขนที่มีลักษณะเฉพาะตัว มีความเป็นร่วมสมัย แสดงให้นักท่องเที่ยวชาวต่างชาติชม จึงนำเสนอให้มีความกระชับ เข้าใจง่าย น่าสนใจ ใช้เทคนิคสมัยใหม่มาประกอบ พยายามสื่อสารโดยใช้ภาพมากกว่าการพากย์และเจรจา อีกทั้งแสดงภาพลักษณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ ซึ่งเป็นผู้สนับสนุน ภายใต้วัตถุประสงค์ที่จะธำรงรักษาวัฒนธรรม อนุรักษ์การแสดงโขนไว้ตามจารีตดั้งเดิม สิ่งเหล่านี้กำหนดกรอบการทำงานของศิลปินผู้สร้างงาน ซึ่งสามารถดำเนินการตามโจทย์เหล่านี้ได้หลายประการ
แม้ว่าโขนเฉลิมกรุงจะมีนโยบายการนำเสนอโขนในแบบใหม่ แต่อันที่จริงแนวคิดและรูปแบบหลายประการได้รับอิทธิพลจากการแสดงโขนกรมศิลปากรและการแสดงอื่นๆ ในยุคก่อนหน้านี้ โดยสรุปแล้ว ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อแนวคิดและรูปแบบของโขนเฉลิมกรุงนั้น อธิบายได้จาก ปัจจัยด้านผู้ผลิต (ทั้งองค์กรผู้ผลิต และผู้กำกับ ศิลปิน) ปัจจัยด้านผู้ชม ปัจจัยด้านผู้สนับสนุน และการแสดงอื่นๆ ในอดีต ซึ่งต่างก็มีผลผลักดันไปสู่การสร้างแนวคิดและรูปแบบของการแสดง
