Abstract

This qualitative research aimed to examine leadership practices among exemplary individuals and explore how such practices contribute to sustainable organizational and community development. Four key informants were selected through purposive sampling: Mr. Sinthop Intharat, Mr. Uthai Boondam, Ms. Patsara Ruphan, and Mrs. Pannipa Sotthiphan. These individuals represented successful cases of organizational and community development. Data were collected through document analysis and fieldwork, including observation and in-depth interviews.

The findings revealed that the leaders in all four areas demonstrated leadership characteristics consistent with transactional leadership theory and superleadership theory. Knowledge exchange between leaders and followers occurred through shared ways of thinking and reward systems that reflected successful performance. The leaders also encouraged their followers to develop self-leadership through participatory processes. Their leadership practices were directed toward creating innovations that enhanced human capital potential, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of organizations and communities.
