Abstract

Thai-Sino literature has a long history; the study of Thai-Sino literature was once a hot spot in academic circles. With the aging of Thai Chinese writers in the 21th century and the bottleneck of creation, the research on Thai-Sino literature has now entered a period of stagnation. The research on Thai Chinese literature is in urgent need of updating and re-excavating. The mini-fiction, known as "doing a dojo in a snail shell", is one of the mainstreams of Thai Chinese literature creation. It’s easy to be short, but it’s hard to reach the depth of thought. However, with the deepening of Thailand-China contact, more and more new immigrant writers who have received professional literature education and training in China have gradually increased, they have become the fresh blood of Thai-Sino literature. Regardless of writing style and expression content, the Thai-Sino literary scene has begun to be updated. Some short stories by Yang Zhao, are representative of the new immigrant writers. In this article, we take "Vishnu's World" and "the Frontier " and so on as examples to make a brief analysis and hope to start a new study era of Thai-Sino literature.
