“The Aesthetics of Plants through Watercolor Painting” aims to create paintings that employ watercolor techniques on paper to capture the beauty of plants in their true nature. The flowering plants with warm shades such as yellow, orange, red, and commonly found were chosen. It helps to obtain their visible characteristics directly. This involves using sophisticated painting skills and principles of botanical drawing, necessitating a process of carefully observing the characteristics of real plants. Prior to drawing, extensive study and research on the selected plants are conducted to accurately represent their physical characteristics. The outcome of this creative endeavour consists of three pieces of work that seamlessly integrate art and science. It offers aesthetic value; the beauty of art reflects the true nature of artistic elements that the creator has adjusted by organizing the chaotic shapes in nature to create unity in the work. To reflect the changing natural beauty of plants over time, as well as botanical knowledge. These plant paintings serve not only as works of art but also as valuable references for botanical studies.
