A Study of the Problem of Using Internal Areas within the Printmaking Building, College of Fine Arts, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute of Fine Arts, Bangkok form the Perspective of Users

Abstract
This study is survey research aiming at studying the problem of using internal areas within the printmaking building, College of Fine Arts, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute of Fine Arts. The research method used a questionnaire based on the Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) to collect the data problems at present and examine the satisfaction levels. The sample group in this study is the building users, including students and teachers, totaling 40 people who used the area of the printmaking building. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results showed that the users are satisfied with the overall Printmaking Building’s usable area at a low level (x̄ = 2.47, S.D. = 0.547). The top three factors that should be improved can be ranked in descending order of importance as follows: 1) sufficient number of bathrooms (x̄ = 1.53, S.D. = 0.554), 2) sufficient college supplies and facilities (x̄ = 1.80, S.D. = 0.648), 3) applicability of interior decoration materials (x̄ = 1.85, S.D. = 0.622). These factors will be analyzed to establish guidelines for improvement of the Printmaking Building efficiency in the future.
