Aims

1. To encourage a wide range of advanced articles in arts, culture, and arts education.

2. To share knowledge and build networks among researchers in arts, culture, and arts education.

3. To provide a resource for international articles in arts, culture, and arts education.

4. To promote Bunditpatanasilpa Institute locally and globally as an institute for Thai visual and performing arts.

 

Scopes, WIPIT seeks a rich and diverse range of articles in the following areas:

1. Arts and culture, with an emphasis on dance, music, visual arts, literature, and ethnomusicology.

2. Arts education, including learning management, teaching, and assessment.

3. Interdisciplinary studies in arts, culture, and broader area.

 

Peer Review Process, All articles must be reviewed by three reviewers via the double - blinded review system. 

Categories of publications

The author should state the categories of the article being submitted to WIPIT. The categories of the articles are as follows:

1. Research Article, Academic Article and Creative Work Article

        The article presents conceptual, theoretical, and methodological research or findings in relation to arts, performing arts, and related fields.

2. Book Review or Review Article     

        The article presents all the fields mentioned in item 1 previously, and the author needs to ensure that the article being submitted has not been published previously or not being in the process of review by any journal. 

 

Criteria of article review 

1. Acceptance and rejection 

The editorial board is in charge of considering all manuscripts being submitted and needs to inform the author whether or not the manuscript will be published in the journal within 60 days from the day of submission. Also, the assistant editor of the journal will inform the author of the formative feedback to edit the manuscript based on the journal’s regulations within 15-20 days. 

2. Article review 

Once the manuscript has been formatted based on the journal’s regulation and ethics of publication, the manuscript will be then sent to three reviewers who are specialists in particular fields associated with the article with no conflict of interest based on double-blinded peer review protocol within 30 days. Importantly, the editorial board will maintain the confidentiality of the author and reviewers. 

3. The result of the publication

In order to publish the article successfully, the author needs to edit the article from the comments and suggestions from three reviewers (double-blind peer review) and agree with the editorial board to issue the acceptance letter to the author. Then the article will proceed to the publication process.
