Main Article Content
Abstract
This mixed-methods research aimed to (1) examine the current conditions of international graduate program management based on the concept of cultural integration in Rajamangala University of Technology, (2) develop culturally integrated management guidelines for international graduate programs, and (3) evaluate and propose the finalized management guidelines for international graduate programs grounded in cultural integration. The sample consisted of 199 faculty members responsible for these programs, including program coordinators and instructors from all four RMUT campuses that offer international graduate programs. The instruments used in this research included questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and evaluation forms, all of which were validated for content validity by experts. Data collection was conducted from the entire population, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and narrative description. The findings revealed that: (1) the overall current condition of international graduate program management based on cultural integration was at a high level. The highest-rated dimension was international program management, followed by curriculum development and curriculum quality assurance, while the lowest-rated dimension was intercultural communication and the use of technology. (2) The proposed management guidelines consisted of seven major components and thirty-three sub-guidelines. (3) The evaluation of the guidelines indicated the highest levels of appropriateness and feasibility. The guidelines can be practically applied to enhance the quality and effectiveness of international graduate program management, ensuring alignment with international standards and promoting sustainable implementation within the Thai higher education context.
