The Communication Patterns of Children and Youth Councils and Their Influence on Political Awareness : A Case Study of the Children and Youth Council in Krabi Province.

Abstract
This research aims to study 1.) the communication process of the Children and Youth Council that affects political awareness, 2.) the communication style of the Children and Youth Council that affects political awareness, and 3.) the problems/obstacles and suggestions for communication of the Children and Youth Council that affects political awareness. The study is a case study of the Children and Youth Council in Krabi Province. It is a qualitative research using a specific population group. The tools used are in-depth interviews and document analysis.The research findings revealed that:
1. Communication processes play a crucial role in promoting youth political awareness, emphasizing youth participation. 2. Communication patterns used include participatory communication, two-way communication, and multimedia communication.
- Problems/obstacles include a lack of political skills and knowledge among the senders (Source). The message is formal and difficult to understand. The communication channels are overly focused on online platforms. On the receiver side, some groups are still not aware of the importance of politics. There are suggestions that the sender (Source) should always develop their sender skills. The message (Message) should be adjusted to be easy to understand. Increase the variety of communication channels (Channel) and organize activities to promote more participation for the receiver (Receiver). The impact (Effect) can be divided into 2 issues: 1. Positive impact, including children and youth participating and wanting to become members of the Krabi Provincial Children and Youth Council. 2. Negative impact, including misunderstandings from receiving information from incorrect sources.
