บทคัดย่อ
ปัจจุบันการวิจัยแบบผสมวิธีที่มีการผสมผสานการวิจัยแบบเชิงปริมาณและเชิงคุณภาพเข้าด้วยกันมีหลากหลายรูปแบบ ในบทความนี้จะนำเสนอวิธีการวิจัยแบบผสมวิธี 2 รูปแบบใหญ่ คือ 1) แบบการวิจัยผสมวิธีขั้นพื้นฐาน และ 2) แบบการวิจัยผสมวิธีขั้นสูง ทั้งนี้ในแต่ละแบบการวิจัยผสมวิธีมีรูปแบบให้ผู้วิจัยเลือกไปประยุกต์ใช้กับงานวิจัยของตนเองตามวัตถุประสงค์ของงานวิจัยแต่ละงานวิจัย ทั้งหมด 7 แบบแผนย่อย ดังนี้ 1) แบบแผนแบบคู่ขนาน เป็นการรวบรวมข้อมูลทั้งคุณภาพและปริมาณทั้งสองชุดแล้วมาเปรียบเทียบผลลัพธ์ 2) แบบแผนแบบขั้นตอนเชิงอธิบาย ใช้วิธีเชิงปริมาณก่อนแล้วตามด้วยวิธีเชิงคุณภาพแล้วนำผลเชิงคุณภาพมาอธิบายผลของเชิงปริมาณในเชิงลึก 3) แบบแผนแบบขั้นตอนเชิงสำรวจ สำรวจปัญหาด้วยวิธีการเชิงคุณภาพเพื่อนำมาสร้างงานในระยะต่อมาที่เป็นการศึกษาเชิงปริมาณ 4) แบบแผนเชิงทดลอง เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลและสำรวจข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพในระหว่างการทดลอง หรือ ก่อนการทดลอง และหลังการทดลอง 5) แบบแผนการศึกษากรณี นำข้อมูลทั้งสองอย่างมาสรุปรวมกันในแต่ละกรณี และนำข้อสรุปแต่ละกรณีมาเปรียบเทียบกัน 6) แบบแผนความยุติธรรมทางสังคม หรือ แบบแผนแบบปฏิรูป แบบแผนนี้จะมีเกี่ยวข้องกับความยุติธรรมทางสังคมเป็นหลักรวมข้อมูลจะเกี่ยวข้องกับการดำเนินชีวิตของมนุษย์ 7) แบบแผนการประเมินหลายขั้นตอนเป็นแบบแผนที่ใช้การออกแบบผสมวิธีที่หลากหลาย และใช้ระยะเวลายาวนาน แบบแผนย่อย 1-3 เป็นแบบการวิจัยผสมวิธีหลักที่นำไปใช้ประยุกต์ในแบบแผนย่อย 4-7 ซึ่งเป็นแบบการวิจัยผสมวิธีขั้นสูง ซึ่งนำแบบแผนย่อยผสมวิธีขั้นพื้นฐานมาประยุกต์ใช้ในแบบการวิจัยผสมวิธีขั้นสูง แบบการวิจัยมีหลากหลายแบบให้นักวิจัยเลือกใช้ตามความเหมาะสมกับวัตถุประสงค์งานวิจัย ทั้งนี้แบบแผนของการวิจัยผสมวิธีนี้สามารถนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ได้ทั้งในงานวิจัยทางสังคมศาสตร์และวิทยาศาสตร์
