A COMPARISON OF INNOVATIVE LEADERSHIP COMPONENTS IN BUDDHACHINNARAJ CONSORTIUM OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATION SERVICE AREA OFFICE PHITSANULOK-UTTARADIT

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) study the innovative leadership components of educational administrators, and 2) compare the innovative leadership components of educational administrators in Buddhachinnaraj consortium of School Administrators under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Phitsanulok-Uttaradit. The sample group consisted of 17 educational administrators and 138 teachers, selected using stratified random sampling with the Krejcie & Morgan's table. A total of 155 individuals were included. The research instrument was a questionnaire with approximately 5 levels of measurement. The statistical analysis employed included percentages, means, standard deviations, and one-way analysis of variance.


The research results were found that: 1) The study of innovative leadership components of educational administrators in Buddhachinnaraj consortium of School Administrators under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Phitsanulok-Uttaradit is overall at a high level (gif.latex?\bar{x}= 4.28, SD = 0.45). When considering each aspect, the highest average score was found in the aspect of promoting creativity and innovation, while the lowest average score was found in the aspect of having a visionary change. And 2) comparing the innovative leadership components of educational administrators classified according to the size of the educational institutions, it was found that there were no significant differences, both overall and in each aspect.
