DEVELOPMENT OF A HOLISTIC EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT MODEL OF SCHOOLS UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE OFFICE OF THE BASIC EDUCATION COMMISSION

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to 1) study about type of the problem that affects a development the holistic education, 2) study the good practice from educational institutions with a holistic education, 3) present a holistic education model, and 4) shown the result evaluate a holistic education model that has effective to be applied. The source of the information including conception, principle, books, journal, and research. The data providers in this research are administrators, teacher, and 20 educational professionals. The data collection procedure is interviewing the specialist from workshop, seminar and analyze information from document, rate of the mean, rate of the standard deviation.
The result of this research showed about 1) type of the problem that affects a development the holistic education 1.1) the holistic education has held of policy from the central only, 1.2) the Policy, Education Administration, Course, Teaching and Communication Network are not flexible, 1.3) the factors that affect in a holistic education were the inter factor are including 1) vision of executive, 2) course syllabus, 3) capability of teacher, 4) educational resources, 5) participation of community and society, and 6) environment in school. The external factor is including 1) bureaucratic system of educational, 2) politics of educational, 3) new economy for education, 4) culture of educational, and 5) technology for education. 2) The best practice of holistic education explained alternative academy has more liberty to do all of the process than progressive academy. 3) Type of holistic education model are 3 sections. Including section 1 is history, point of view, principle and objective. Section 2 is factor, procedure, product, and result. Section 3 is regulation and condition. And 4) the result of evaluation holistic education model has properly and possible to apply in academy and this model is beneficial in education management a holistic education.
