THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOCAL WISDOM LEARNING ACTIVITY PACKAGES ON FOLK ARTS AND CULTURE BY USING COMMUNITY-BASED LEARNING IN MAN AND SOCIETY COURSE, FACULTY OF EDUCATION, RAJABHAT PIBOOLSONGKRAM UNIVERSITY

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) construct and find the efficiency of local wisdom learning activity packages according to the 80/80 standard criteria, and 2) compare learning achievements of the students taught by using the local wisdom learning activity packages on folk arts and culture with community-based learning and demonstrational instruction. The target group were the 3rd year students in Social Studies the academic year 2019. The 01 section with 24 students was the experimental group, and the 02 section with 27 students were the control group. The instrument used in this research was (1) interview forms for basic information on local wisdom, (2) the local wisdom learning activity packages, (3) plan using the local wisdom learning activity packages, (4) plan using demonstration method, (5) achievement test. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test independent samples.


The results of the research were found that: 1) the efficiency value of the packages was 83.28/84.94, which passed the criteria, and 2) the learning achievements of the students taught by using the packages were statistically significantly higher than those taught by using demonstrational instruction at 0.01 level.
