THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDY PROGRAM IN BASIC EDUCATIONAL SCHOOLS FOR ENHANCING STUDENTS’ SELF–DISCOVERY -

Abstract

The objectives of this article were 1) to study trends of the changes in study program in basic educational schools and 2) to propose guidelines of study program development in basic educational schools for enhancing students’ self-discovery. The study of data was found that; 1) the study program in basic educational schools must promote learners to know themselves and discover guidelines to develop themselves according to their aptitudes and interests. 2) the guidelines of the study program development in basic educational schools for enhancing students’ self-discovery were as follows; (1) to analyze direction changes of the world and Thai society (2) to consider trends of new career to be happened (3) to explore the learners’ interests and the labor markets’ demands (4) to study the information of the new faculties and programs offered in university (5) to build network partners to propel effectively (6) to develop the study program that meets the needs (7) to manage the flexible curriculum  (8) to promote the self- discovery learning activities, and (9) to plan all levels curriculum to be consistent and relevant.
