DEVELOPMENT OF INFOGRAPHIC MEDIA BASED ON TRANSFER OF LEARNING ON THE TOPIC OF SAVING FOR THE FUTURE OF PRIMARY 6 STUDENTS

Abstract
The objectives of this study were to 1) develop infographic media based on the transfer of learning on the topic of saving for the future of primary 6 students to meet the efficiency level of 80/80, 2) compare their learning achievement before and after studying through the developed infographic media, 3) identify the students’ satisfaction toward the infograpic media, and 4) study their saving behavior. Samples were 49 primary 6 students studying in the first semester of the academic year of 2018 at Wattamnava School under Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Education Service Area Office 2, Bang Pa-in District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The samples were chosen by simple random sampling. Research tools were infographic media about the topic of saving for the future, achievement tests, a questionnaire asking about satisfaction, and an evaluation form about saving behavior. The statistics used in the research were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
It was found that 1) the developed infographic media met the efficiency level of 81.55/82.33. 2) The students’ learning achievement after studying through the media was higher than that before their learning with a mean score of 25.54/18.67 at a .05 level of significance. 3) Their overall satisfaction toward the media was at the highest level with an average score of 4.54. And 4) their overall saving behavior after learning through the media was at a high level with an average score of 4.44.
