Lesson Learned for Developing Community Communicators’ Skills about Khanom La Telling by Integrating Teaching and Learning, Research, Academic Services and Art and Culture Conservation

Abstract

          This academic article aims to conclude lesson learned from community communicators’ skill development to telling by integrating teaching and learning, research, academic services, and art and culture conservation. The authors take the course of the Department of Communication Arts to integrate with research on the issue of Khanom La storytelling through modern media to produce modern media telling about Khanom La with Khanom La entrepreneurs in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, the development of community communicators’ skills to tell about Khanom La, both entrepreneurs and students leading to conservation, inheritance and transfer to people in the community and outside the community. From the lessons learned, it was found guidelines for the implementation of this integrated teaching and learning that conducted in accordance with the PDCA principles of educational quality assurance, namely Plan, Do, Check and Act. The result of integrated teaching and learning with all missions is the benefit of learners, entrepreneurs and community.
