Social supporting factors affecting the quality of life of the elderly in Tha Kok Daeng Subdistrict, Seka District, Bueng Kan Province during the covid-19 situation

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the quality of life of the elderly and social support for the elderly in Tha Kok Daeng Sub-district, Seka District, Bueng Kan Province; 2) to compare the level of quality of life of the elderly in the Tha Kok Daeng Subdistrict, Seka District, Bueng Kan Province Classified by personal factors 3) To study the social support factors affecting the quality of life of the elderly in Tha Kok Daeng Subdistrict, Seka District, Bueng Kan Province. The sample group includes 294 elderly people in Tha Kok Daeng Sub-district, Seka District, Bueng Kan Province were stratified sampling by using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. and the statistics used in the data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. T test One-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis
          The results showed that Social support for the elderly in Tha Kok Daeng Subdistrict, Seka District, Bueng Kan Province Overall, it's at a high level. and quality of life of the elderly in Tha Kok Daeng Subdistrict, Seka District, Bueng Kan Province Overall, it's at a high level. The results of the comparison of the quality of life of the elderly in Tha Kok Daeng Subdistrict, Seka District, Bueng Kan Province Classified by personal characteristics, it was found that the quality of life of the elderly in Tha Kok Daeng Subdistrict, Seka District, Bueng Kan Province when classified according to personal characteristics of gender and marital status no difference when classified by age personal characteristics education level Occupation (after retirement) Average monthly income source of income and the number of family members There were statistically significant differences at the .05 level and social support factors. It was found that the influence on the quality of life of the elderly in Tha Kok Daeng Sub-district, Seka District, Bueng Kan Province. statistically significant at the .05 level, the social support factor All aspects were able to jointly predict the level of quality of life of the elderly in Tha Kok Daeng Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Seka District, Bueng Kan Province by 57.60%.
