Development of Academic Achievement in Mathematics Subject on Factoring Quadratics Secondary School Students, 2/6 Year at Taweethapisek School by Cooperative Learning Using Box Method in Conjunction with Activity Packages

Abstract

           Research Workshop in class Mathematics subject on Factoring Quadratics, the objectives of this research workshop were 1) to develop the academic achievement in studying in Mathematics subject on Factoring Quadratics by cooperative learning using Box Method in conjunction with activity packages, 2) to compare academic achievement before and after class of Mathematics subject on Factoring Quadratics by cooperative learning using Box Method in conjunction with activity packages. The sample was selected from purposive sampling method as will be used in this research is the 45 of students from secondary school students 2/6 year at Taweethapisek School: who are studying in second semester, academic year 2020. The instruments used in this study were 1) cooperative learning using Box Method in conjunction with activity packages, 2) 10 subjective questions achievement. The percentage, mean and standard deviation were the parameters used for statistical analysis. The results of this study were 1) a cooperative learning using Box method in conjunction with activity packages have achieved results through the criteria with scores in the range of 73.89 percent, 2) the achievement score of students after using a cooperative learning using Box Method in conjunction with activity packages as a study was met in criteria 100 percent.
