MEDIA EXPOSURE ATTIUDE AND PARTICIPATION OF PEOPLE IN NAKHON PHANOM PROVINCE TOWARD THE REGISTERATION OF PHRA THAT PHANOM AS A WORLD HERITAGE SITE PROJECT

Abstract

This research aims to study the media exposure, attitude and participation of people in Nakhon Phanom province toward the registeration of Phra That Phanom as a world Heritage site Project. A Survey research was used to collect data from the people who living in Nakhon Phanom province, aged 15 up. Four hundred samples participated in this study by questionnaire. This result showed that, Sex and Education no Significantly different But, Occupation and Age were significantly different. Further result showed that media exposure was related with the attitude of people in Nakhon Phanom province toward the registeration of Phra That Phanom as a world Heritage site Project in moderate level. While the media exposure was related with the participation of people in Nakhon Phanom province toward the registeration of Phra That Phanom as a world Heritage site Project at High (To Inform, To Consult, To Involve, To collaboration), Expect for To Empower that was related with the attitude of people in Nakhon Phanom province toward the registeration of Phra That Phanom as a world Heritage site Project in moderate level.
