การศึกษาความคุ้มค่าของการใช้ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศของหอสมุดวังท่าพระ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) วิเคราะห์งบประมาณการจัดหาทรัพยากรสารสนเทศกับอัตราการใช้หนังสือของหอสมุดวังท่าพระ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากรจำแนกตามปีงบประมาณ และกลุ่มภาษา และ 2) วิเคราะห์ความคุ้มค่าในทรัพยากรสารสนเทศของหอสมุดวังท่าพระ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร โดยศึกษาความคุ้มค่าของการใช้หนังสือจัดซื้อของหอสมุดวังท่าพระ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ในปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2563-2565 ที่ถูกยืมออก ในระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติ Sierra จำนวน 1,627 เล่ม ตั้งแต่วันที่ 01 ตุลาคม 2562 - วันที่ 30 กันยายน 2565 เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แบบบันทึกข้อมูลหนังสือ สำหรับบันทึกข้อมูลนับความถี่ที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น โดยใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Excel มาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงบรรยาย ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย รวมทั้งการวิเคราะห์ความคุ้มทุนในการใช้งานหนังสือ และอัตราการใช้หนังสือ
ผลการศึกษา พบว่า 1) ในการจัดซื้อหนังสือปีงบประมาณ 2563-2565 ใช้เงินงบประมาณในการจัดซื้อทั้งสิ้น 1,601,403.03 บาท เฉลี่ยปีละ 533,801.01 บาท จำนวนหนังสือจัดซื้อหนังสือได้ทั้งหมด 1,627 เล่ม เป็นหนังสือภาษาไทย 947 เล่ม ภาษาต่างประเทศ 680 เล่ม มีจำนวนการใช้ทั้งหมด 4,782 ครั้ง เมื่อแยกตามภาษา พบว่า มีการจัดซื้อหนังสือภาษาไทยมากกว่าหนังสือภาษาต่างประเทศ อัตราการใช้หนังสือเฉลี่ย 2.94 ครั้งต่อเล่ม 2) ความคุ้มทุนในหนังสือมีการคุ้มทุน 334.88 บาท และเมื่อพิจารณาสัดส่วนจำนวนการใช้หนังสือต่อจำนวนหนังสือ ที่คิดเป็นร้อยละ พบว่า ในปีงบประมาณ 2563-2565 คิดเป็นร้อยละ 76.15
