About the Journal
Publication Policy
Journal of Library and Information Science Srinakharinwirot University is published by the Faculty of Humanities, Srinakharinwirot University. It is a biannual academic journal, issuing two numbers per year: Issue 1 (January–June) and Issue 2 (July–December). The journal aims to support faculty members, librarians, undergraduate and graduate students, civil servants, and researchers/scholars in disseminating academic works in the fields of Library and Information Science, Information Studies, Information Technology, Educational Technology and Innovation, and other related areas of information studies. Manuscripts are accepted in both Thai and English.
Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer review process conducted by at least three experts in the relevant field. Each manuscript is reviewed by three qualified external reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript. Reviewers are affiliated with diverse institutions and are not from the same institution as the author(s). Editorial decisions are based on reviewers’ recommendations and academic standards.
Plagiarism Screening Policy
All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software prior to peer review. Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding 20% will be rejected or returned for revision at the editor’s discretion.
Conflict of interest policy
Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence editorial decisions.
Retraction and correction policy
The journal reserves the right to retract articles in cases of data fabrication, plagiarism, or research misconduct.
Publication ethics
The Journal of Library and Information Science Srinakharinwirot University adheres to publication ethics and the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) guidelines to ensure transparency, accountability, and integrity in scholarly publishing.
AI usage policy
The journal permits the use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, AI language tools) for language editing assistance. However:

AI must not generate research data or analytical findings.

AI usage must be disclosed in the acknowledgment section.

Authors remain fully responsible for the content.
Responsibilities of Authors

Submit original work that has not been previously published.

All sources must be cited appropriately. References shall be prepared in accordance with the APA (7th edition) referencing style and presented in English.

Disclose funding sources and conflicts of interest.

Take full responsibility for the accuracy of all data.

Clearly state each author's contribution.
Responsibilities of Peer-review

Conduct objective and confidential reviews.

Declare any conflicts of interest.

Refrain from using unpublished materials for personal gain.

Provide constructive and academically grounded feedback.
Responsibilities of Editors

Evaluate manuscripts based on academic merit and relevance to the journal’s scope.

Implement a double-blind peer review process.

Maintain confidentiality of authors and reviewers.

Conduct plagiarism screening prior to peer review.

Make publication decisions free from discrimination or bias.
Author Eligibility and Submission Criteria
- Authors may submit manuscripts for consideration throughout the year or during the submission periods specified by the journal via the online journal system.
- The journal accepts Academic Articles, Research Articles, and Book Reviews.
- Only manuscripts that strictly comply with the journal’s submission guidelines and requirements will be considered for review.
- All manuscripts undergo academic peer review by three experts in relevant fields through a double-blind peer review process and must be approved by the editorial board.
- Authors must certify that the manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration elsewhere. Once published, the manuscript may not be republished. Authors agree that the editorial board may make editorial revisions for clarity and consistency prior to publication.
- For studies involving human participants or animals, authors must submit ethical approval from the relevant ethics committee. Final publication approval rests with the editorial board.

Copyright of articles published in the Journal of Library and Information Science Srinakharinwirot University is jointly held by the authors and the Faculty of Humanities, Srinakharinwirot University. All articles are peer reviewed. The views expressed are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the editorial board or the Faculty. The journal permits academic use and redistribution with proper citation in accordance with copyright laws.
