ความต้องการสารสนเทศดิจิทัลของผู้ใช้บริการ สำนักหอสมุดกลาง มหาวิทยาลัยรามคำแหง

การวิจัยครั้งนี้ เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเกี่ยวกับความต้องการสารสนเทศดิจิทัลของผู้ใช้บริการ สำนักหอสมุดกลาง มหาวิทยาลัยรามคำแหง ได้แก่ (1) ด้านบริการ (2) ด้านสื่อ (3) ด้านการสื่อสาร (4) ด้านความสัมพันธ์กับปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล และ (5) ด้านความสัมพันธ์กับสภาพแวดล้อม ผลการวิจัย พบว่า
1. ผู้ใช้บริการต้องการบริการกลุ่ม Video (Video Clip บน YouTube, Video on Demand, เสียงออนไลน์, e-Leaning และ e-Lecture) มากกว่ากลุ่ม e-Books (e-Books, e-Theses, e-Journals และ e-Newspaper) เล็กน้อย สมาชิกประเภทปริญญาตรีต้องการบริการคลังข้อสอบ ต้องการสื่อ PDF สำหรับข้อความ JPG สำหรับภาพ MP4 สำหรับวิดีโอ MP3 สำหรับเสียง ต้องการการสื่อสารผ่านทาง Website, e-mail และ Facebook
2. ผู้ใช้บริการส่วนใหญ่เป็นนักศึกษา อายุ 18-35 ปี เป็นสมาชิกประเภทปริญญาตรี สนใจสาขาปรัชญา จิตวิทยา ศาสนา, รัฐศาสตร์ การเมือง การปกครอง, กฎหมาย, ภาษาและวรรณคดี เป็นพิเศษ เข้าถึงสารสนเทศดิจิทัลของห้องสมุดเพื่อประกอบการเรียน 1-5 ครั้ง/สัปดาห์ ผ่านทาง Smart Phone ปัจจัยสภาพแวดล้อมมีความสัมพันธ์กับความต้องการสารสนเทศดิจิทัลในทิศทางเดียวกัน การปิดกั้นจำกัดอาณาเขตและปิดสถานที่บริการต่าง ๆ การกลัวติดเชื้อ COVID-19 และความต้องการประหยัดค่าใช้จ่าย ทำให้ต้องการสารสนเทศดิจิทัลมากขึ้น
