OPINIONS OF GRADUATE STUDENTS IN COMMUNICATION INNOVATION MANAGEMENT TOWARDS TEACHING AND LEARNING MANAGEMENT OF THE FACULTY OF COMMUNICATION ARTS RAMBHAIBARNI RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

Introduction: Graduate-level education plays a crucial role in shaping the quality of graduates, particularly in fields related to communication innovation management, which must address the expectations of both Thai and international students. Objective: 1) examine the opinions of graduate students in the Communication Innovation Management program at the Faculty of Communication Arts, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, and 2) compare the perspectives of Thai and international students. Methods: A quantitative research method was employed with a sample of 50 students from the 2022–2023 academic year, selected through stratified random sampling based on nationality. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed with descriptive statistics and statistical tests of differences. Results: overall opinions toward instructional management were at the highest level (mean = 4.89). Specifically, the mean score for teaching and learning was 4.78, and for supporting factors was 4.75. Thai students emphasized healthcare services and scholarships, whereas international students placed greater importance on visa renewal, service provision, and student development. Comparative results indicated no significant differences in opinions regarding teaching, supporting factors, and services; however, significant differences were found in the area of student development at the .05 level. The study concludes that high-quality instructional management should integrate both academic and student support services, with particular attention to the distinct needs of each group. Providing academic advising, skill-enhancement activities, and appropriate welfare services can enhance learning experiences, increase student satisfaction, and strengthen learners’ capacity for academic and career success in the future.
