THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN INVESTMENT IN DIGITAL INNOVATION AND CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY

Abstract
Investing in digital innovation has become a strategic imperative to achieve business sustainability by increasing operational efficiency, reducing costs and strengthening competitive advantage. The relationship between investment in digital innovation and business sustainability remains under-researched as organizations face barriers such as high costs, technological complexity and a shortage of skilled digital talent. This article explores the relationship between investment in digital innovation and business sustainability through the theoretical aspects of digital transformation and dynamic capabilities. It explains how companies are integrating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing to align long-term growth with sustainability goals. Achieving sustainability goals depends on enabling factors such as developing a digital infrastructure, aligning corporate strategies with ESG principles and cultivating an innovative-oriented corporate culture.
