Abstract
This article examines the debate in Environmental concern of argument
including: thought, idealism and detailed contents. The critical environment was
requested to the public forum both nation and international society. Rachel Carson,
Paul Ehrlich and Barry Commoner were who emphasizes to the stimulus of Limit
to Growth. Whereas, The Doomsday Syndrome exposed the disagreement with the
criticized data analysis. Moreover, the positive output in human community and
environment was also revealed. The debate learning displayed to the establishment
of new development discourse as “Sustainable Development”.
