The Development Thai Flute Curriculum by Direct Instruction Model for Grade 10 Students

Abstract
The study was aimed at 1) developing Thai flute curriculum for grade 10 students 2) examining the result of using Thai flute curriculum for grade 10 students which required students to have average score not less than 70% and more than 70% of all students were required to pass the assigned criteria and 3) exploring grade 10 students’ satisfaction towards the learning of Thai flute curriculum for grade 10 students. The sample is grade 10 class 4/1 consisted of 23 students in Kham Khan Wittayakhom School Kham Khan sub-district, Mancha Khiri district Khon Kaen. Studies in the second semester of the academic year 2016. Who was selected by using Purposive Sampling which chooses the students who have again the low level of learning achievement? This research is Research & Development and has 2 steps which consisted of first, The Process of Curriculum Development from Wichai Wongyai. And the second is the result of using the curriculum through the direct instruction model The instruments used in this research included 1) 8 lessons plan from the curriculum 2) The four-choice achievement test consisting of 30 questions and performance evaluation form and 3) Student satisfaction survey to using Thai flute curriculum by direct instruction model for grade 10 students. The statistical analysis is the Percentage and mean and standard deviation and conclusion to a descriptive essay.
The results showed that
- The result of the evaluation of the Thai flute curriculum using a direct teaching program for the grade 10 students the 5 experts were suitable.
- The result of using the Thai flute curriculum for grade 10 students. The study of the result of using the Thai flute curriculum for grade 10 students. Students got an average point at 52 or equal to 87.04% and all student pass the assigned criteria.
- The overall satisfaction of the grade 10 students to the thai flute curriculum using direct teaching program was very high.
